Enameled electrical switch plates

With the SMALTO line, Apir offers a full set of electrical switch plates for switches and sockets, entirely made of 6mm brass and handcrafted to obtain the enamel finish on the front side.

Compatibility

The switch plates of this line are compatible with all junction boxes available on the market, complying with the Italian (502, 503, 504 etc.) and the European standard. Besides standard solutions, Apir can create custom sized electrical switch plates based on the specific needs of your design.
The Apir electrical switch plates support all socket types from all countries, the Italian 2-pin and 10A sockets as well as the German, French and Swiss standards, including the USB-A, USB-C, RJ-45 plugs etc.
Versatile and practical, the SMALTO line is compatible with both traditional systems and home automation.

Controls

This line of enameled brass electrical switch plates comes with both push buttons or toggle controls. The buttons are available with both surface or flush-mount, with backlight or non-luminous.
The toggles feature three design options: AVIO, GODRONATA and CILINDRICA.

Design

In the pursuit of a sleek design, all sockets are perfectly flush-mounted into the switch plate, leaving uncovered only the essential plastic portion. The minimalist pattern is also featured in the buttons with flush design, which remain perfectly flat, aligned with the surface of the switch plate even after activation.
The switch plates of the SMALTO line feature a brass perimeter with metallic finish and a hand-enameled surface. They can be fixed with screws or feature a screwless fixing for the ultimate minimal effect.

The wide range of Apir products and the possibility to create bespoke solutions allow you to design and develop the total look that best fits into the style of your project, whether it is a hotel, a residential home or a studio. The material and finish chosen for the electrical switch plates can be also used to create matching directional signs or accessories.
